Good read - I think all of us have some remembered pain from our childhoods. My parents divorced when I was 13, and there were a lot of tumultuous years preceding that. I lean on Romans 8:28 - that was tough to live through, and it explains some of my struggles, but I can also see the blessing in trouble. (Romans 5:3-5: tribulation worketh patience...)
Thank you for sharing your pain Charlotte. A divorce is never easy on a child, and the pain can last a lifetime if not addressed. While it's so comforting to know that in all things, God works for our good, it's also important to recognize and grieve the things we've had to walk through. I'm doing a lot of grieving even now in my 60's! God bless you, dear Charlotte.
