Beautifully written. Sometimes I find it's easier to dwell on unhappy times instead of looking for joy in every day moments. I find it helpful to write down things that bring me joy & to surround myself with happy people. Spending active time outside is a sure fix for feeling good. Just breathe.
“Long before science confirmed that laughter strengthens the immune system, boosts mood, diminishes pain, and protects us from the damaging effects of stress, God knew it” 😮💨😮💨🔥🔥🙌🏽🙌🏽
So good !!
I love that you’re writing of joy is during such a painful season for you
It’s one thing to simply talk about it it’s a whole other thing to actually walk out everything you’re sharing ❤️ makes me think of when we were weak He is strong 🥹❤️
Erika, I agree. When we get to the end of ourselves and ask HIM to fill us with joy, He's faithful. Sometimes it hits supernaturally and other times, (like yesterday) I got hit with joy at seeing a beautiful tree with orange and red leaves. So good....
I loved what you have shared. A couple of memories came up for me. One for myself and one for my daughter. Joy escapes me more often then not. I am praying and practicing for more joy.

Oh I love those ideas, Gini. You are one of the most joyful people I know so you really know what you're talking about! Thanks for sharing!
