I see it as a confirmation because I have been feeling like I should fast from coffee in this fast coming up this Monday and like you I have been telling God how I don’t feel the need to eliminate when it’s already a sacrifice to have it without milk and sugar. Oh bless you Sadie! I feel you! I encourage you ask God for the grace to do what he's asking of you and stand on the promise that he is faithful. Honestly, the coffee breakthrough was a big one for me. It gave me a new level of freedom that I hadn't felt before. Weird since I didn't think 1-2 cups a day was a big deal. He knew though!
This was so relatable 😃 I have not been one to enjoy fasting but since it’s a practice we regularly do at church, I’ve been able to view it differently which is honestly huge! Before I would refuse, and not try the food route but over time I’ve grown to embrace it. I feel challenged to spend less time watching Netflix too, but the thought of giving that up on top of the food is painstaking haha so this was so great. Thanks for this insight, I now have an idea of how I can effectively approach it. Excited to see how God will move! God bless ❤️
Thank you so much for this post truly! It helps to know that I’m going through similar feelings during fasting, and thank you for the tips! We are currently in our 4th day of praying and fasting, only for 21 days, I can not imagine to do it for 40, at least not yet 😅
I pray that Jesus provides everything you need to overcome whatever comes in between.
