I have a colouring in book which helps me slow down when I'm anxious. I have created a playlist for when I feel overwhelmed so I don't also have to feel overwhelmed about which song to choose next! I also recommend getting outside. When it's possible I leave my kids with another adult while I take a moment on my own, if that isn't possible I try to remind myself that all emotions are temporary and I won't feel like this forever, I tell the kids I'm feeling a bit worried and then we get on with our day.
